The pipes were in their emo phase
thanks for that one! i was wondering what they were referring to constantly. death pipe. :>
I don’t read subtitles but that’s kind of funny.
Haibara's acting!!!
Dang Haibara is very good at acting dramatic
Loving the bait and switch for the culprit
19:13 Why do they have those shoujo anime sparkles around him??
20:20 Haibara barely even looks bothered lol
23:20 Would love to know what that means
YAMAMURA!?!!!? Had zero memory of him being in this episode
23:40 ;?'!!;"?! OUT OF NOWHERE
23:40 oh. city code on the quack detective's phone. his phone uses the old 'tone dial system'. you've heard it before, when you push the numbers on a phone you hear the specific tone each number makes right? the phone number systems world wide are pretty universal. country code comes first, each country is assigned a number... 3 digits i think. the US is 001 (of course! we invented the touch tone dialing system so we numbered ourselves 1). next digits depends on the countries' rules but that's the area code. that one is determined by the gross number of phone lines in that geographic area. if there are too many, a new area code has to be created. city code comes next. sometimes it's only 3 digits but some countries need up to five digits. then the individual residence's number. as far as i remember the four digit phone line/building code is universal. a city with code 222 can have one line with the number 9999. whereas the neighboring city 223 can ALSO have a line with the number 9999... that's why it is important to remember the city code and get it right.
maybe he's remembering the tones of the phone number Vermouth dialed.
23:20 The Amanogawa, Amano-gawa or Amano is a river in Japan, which passes through Hirakata, near Osaka. The name means "heavenly river", and is also the Japanese name for the Milky Way.
how's your Tanabata Festival (July 7 -ish) knowledge? it's the one where folks tie papers on which they write their wishes to the branches of bamboo trees. if you didn't know, the stars Altair (Hikoboshi) and Vega (Orihime) represent the husband and wife from the legend Tanabata is based on. the two lovers are separated by Amanogawa. once a year, on that day in July the two lovers are permitted to meet for just that one day. but, if it rains on Tanabata the Amanogawa will flood with water and the married couple will have to wait till a flock of magpies arrives. these birds build a bridge over Amanogawa so the two can meet. unfortunately, the magpies' bridge takes almost the whole day to build and the two lovers' tryst is shortened.
it can also mean: ‘Amanogawa’ a beautiful ornamental cherry tree. It has an upright or columnar habit, hence its common name the flagpole cherry. unlike the normal cherry tree blossoms you may be familiar with from anime... big wide trunks...broad limbs spreading both horizontally and vertically... covering huge tracks of land. the flagpole cherry grows almost straight up into the air. its limbs barely spread but the blooms on them are incredibly dense and beautiful. many of them appear to be a broom where the bristles are flowers instead of straw.
Nothing new for her though since her introduction
11:28, lol, I forgot she makes him buy her designer bags whenever he needs a favor she doesn't wanna do.
Man I feel bad I thought it was the girl because they would do those episode where the culprit is the person that is the most sad but she was genuinely just mourning the death of her lover
The girl feels like an easy target to be framed quality
That was cute, Haibara 🥰
Hey no sponsor this time
We have read this numerous times.
The manga is good in short!
my guess: def wrong again..
I kinda called it
Super horny detective fuckers is here with helium use whore Ayumi the prostitute
鉄パイプ [tetsu paipu] = steel pipe, NOT デスパイプ [desu paipu] = death pipe
Still one of the less shitty subs for this series. I'd still take this over chinese autotranslated names in the subs any day
